Välkomna på vår vernissage med @artistarena i morgon fredag! Kul att göra det här med Artist Arena och konstnärskollegorna @carinasjolinart och @kgahneart_abstrakt. I går hängde vi utställningen och det ser väldigt fint ut. I morgon från 17 bjuds det på ett glas bubbel, spännande originalkonst och mycket folk!

Höstens första vernissage närmar sig!
Den 18 augusti öppnar vi (Catarina Sjölin, Kristina Gahne och jag) på Fabriken i Hammarby sjöstad. Planera in det och titta förbi, ingen föranmälan behövs. Där kommer jag att visa de bästa verken från tidigare utställningar och en del av de nya verken från projektet med Lofoten, som en försmak av det som planeras till senare i höst.

One of my ongoing paintings. Pure joy. If I could go anywhere I wanted at midnight I would pick this, again and again. This is how I remember the Beach Uttakleiv on the north side of Vestvågøy, #lofoten. Silky smooth giant stones on a huge beach, turquoise, coral red and the white sand. The sun never goes down. It just touches the horizon and continue back up again. The Beach at Eggum, north coast of Vestvågøy, Lofoten. The white sand gives the ocean around the island a unique colour. Even on a absurdly grey and rainy day. I grabbed my biggest rain coat and loved it!

Beginnings! Still feels good. I start a new painting (and any creative work for that matter) with tons of self esteem and visions of greatness. Yet every single time I crash land in a loss of confidence and start thinking about giving up. The success is determined by what I will do at that point, not what I plan when I start out. I recall Avicii explaining his creativity more or less the same way. And we are not alone in that.
